This Bible belonged to Dr. Milton S. Richards (1843-1907) and his wife Louise (née Fritch) Richards (1847-1930). It contains genealogical information on both their families, both ancestors and descendants. Later entries imply that the Bible may have passed to their son Rev. George Warren Richards (1869-1955), and perhaps his daughter, Mabel Mosser (née Richards) Griest (1893-1967). This is indicated by the most recent name recorded in the bible being that of her grandson, William Richards Griest, Jr. (1939-1967).
