Description An account of the resource In 1879 the Ohio Synod agreed to transfer the Cincinnati Classis to a proposed new German-speaking Synod for Ohio. In 1881 the Northwest Synod gave permission for three classes to be transferred for such a task. Approved by the 1881 General Synod, the Central Synod was organized November 3, 1881, at the Reformed Church in Galion, OH.
