This Classis was set off from the Mercersburg Classis by the Potomac Synod in 1882, and organized on May 22, 1883, at Greencastle, PA. It continued to 1939 when all of its congregations became part of the Central Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical and Reformed Church. Reports to the Potomac Synod from 1883-1939.
